Just finished watching a movie called Equilibrium. Quite enjoyed it actually, even though admittedly it probably wasn't that great of a movie.

The plot goes along the lines: that in the early 21st century, the Third World War broke out, and afterwards there was a minority revolution in which it was decided that the root of all evils, such as violence and war, was rooted in human feelings and emotion.

Although I was already 99% sure that I would pass all my courses, today I received the official confirmation.

I got a 5 (Credit) for all of my last three courses of my degrees that I undertook this past semester: COMP3502 Human Computer Interaction, HIST2602 Empires, and HIST2609 History of the Great Powers.

Overall I am satisfied with these results, although I could have done much better if I applied myself better, especially for the exams.

I got the other wireless router Thursday, and setting it to function solely as an access point was more difficult than i expected. Actually, when i come to think of it, nearly everything to do with computers almost always takes much longer than expected. Nothing with computers is ever easy.

Having broken my foot on Sunday, I haven't been up to too much. Over the past few days I have just had to make sure that i keep my foot up, because each time i let it down, even just down sitting, it starts hurting and throbbing like crazy. It is also still really swollen. As a result, really the only time I get up off the couch is to go to the toilet, to have a bath (i can't safely or comfortably have a shower on one foot), or to go to bed.

Today was my second last exam: HIST2609 which I had already passed. (see the entry from a few days ago)

The exam was at 5:45pm, but I there was a revision tute for COMP3501 on at 10, so I planned to go into uni for that and spend the rest of the day studying for the exam at uni before actually sitting it.

In the past few days winter has well and truly arrived. It has been really cold, and of course I am really enjoying this weather. The main reason why I so enjoy the cold, is that I can do something about it: put more clothes on; and plus also i don't sweat that much. With heat, and me being such a profuse sweater, there is nothing much you can easily do about it, except buy air-conditioning. But unfortunately that doesn't work outdoors.

Went and attended my HIST2602 (Empires) exam yesterday. I could have done better, but i was informed a few days beforehand that the assessment that I had already completed for that course had me sitting right on 50% overall, which meant that I had already passed. Thus I didn't take the exam all too seriously.
