Of course today is the Ekka holiday. Some, like myself, are lucky to have it off. Others, like Despina, aren't so lucky. I still think that every second Wednesday should be a holiday: i think it would refresh everyone a whole lot more, and everybody would be a whole lot more productive (this is me dreaming of course).

This week has just vanished into thin air before my eyes. I really find it hard to believe that it is Friday already. I guess that I have just been so busy with everything lately. I've noticed in the past few weeks that I have been very much enjoying watching the World Poker Tour. It was on Channel 10 (I think?) lately on Saturday nights, and is on Fox 8 on Friday nights. Although the show is just people playing poker, it is rated MA (restricted to people under 15 y.o.) for gambling. It's awesome watching them play and psych-out each other.

I have come to realise over the past few days of work that I truly have a love/hate relationship with computers. At times they can be the best thing in the world to use for basically anything from word processing, the internet and email, to playing games.

But at other times they can be the most infuriatingly frustrating things on the face of the Earth. And that can be just using them. At work having to attend to some of the computer problems of the office is doubly frustrating.

Here we are at another weekend. I have just finished changing my website's mail client on my computer from Mozilla Thunderbird to MS Outlook. Now that I am out of uni, I want to use my computer to organise the stuff that I have on etc, and Outlook is probably one of the best and most widely used programs out there for doing so.

On Saturday night me and Despina went to see The War of the Worlds. After hearing some bad but mostly good things about this movie, i decided to go see it with Despina, having already seen the original 1953 movie a few months ago.

I think this may have been one of the first time that I have gone a week without blogging. Shame shame shame.

I've sort of had good reason though: starting work full-time again has taken me a bit off-guard, plus there have been various things that have taken up my time out of work.

On Thursday i returned to work after a prolonged absence caused by exams and then this broken foot. In the two days that I have worked predictably I have attracted a various amount of humorous nicknames/labels: Skippy, Hoppy, Hobbles etc.

I'm looking forward to going to Church tonight after missing many weeks. It'll be good to see everyone as well.

Had the second and last night of the marriage seminar last night. It was much more enjoyable and entertaining than last nights talk from Relationships Australia. Today I had a shower. Shock! Horror!

I haven't had one in a long long time. But before you premeditate ways of avoiding me next time you see me, that's only because of my broken foot I have been forced to having baths.

I'm not really one for baths. When you're a kid, they're great, but when you're a big adult, there's something gross about cleaning yourself of all the crap that's on you, and then staying in that dirty water for a period of time.
