Yesterday I got the tickets for the midnight screening of Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!!. I was going to be an uber-geek and actually scan it in and put it up on entry, but i didn't really have the time, and it would be a bit much.

Returned to my stupid ways today. I had planned to go into uni, which first of all is bad karma (for lack of a better expression) on holidays, to get books from the library for the essay i'm currently doing. I had the list of the books I wanted to get and even checked it up against the uni catalogue this morning before i left just to make sure they were all still there. This site is about a guy who is threatening to eat is adorable little pet bunny Toby, unless he receives USD$50,000 in donations or the purchase of merchandise by the 30th of June. Quite funny, and he has actually raised almost $20,000 already.

This week was a little busy in terms of uni assessment. Had two things due: my HIST2609 short essay (which i will post in the Gallery once I get my marks back), and also a HIST2602 Tutorial Submission (I have to do three throughout the semester). Today was the big grand-final match of indoor soccer. This being my first final series, and thus also my first final of playing indoor, i was particularly psyched about this match.

Before the match, i didn't really fancy our chances. We were playing Cardno, the team that beat us 9-1 in the normal season, and quite comprehensively beat nearly every other team by a wide margin. We were truly the underdogs.

Well I had a very busy, tiring, frustrating, enjoyable, and happy weekend all in one the past few days. Friday was the fortnightly Bible study at which this week there were not that many people. Not really sure why.

Saturday was the half-big day. Saturday night me and Despina had our engagement celebration. It was only a small family affair, with only 50 people attending. Had a wonderful night.

Last two days went back to uni. I've got to say that it's kind of strange going back for the last time. Took in all the new buildings and the new sites, the uni does change quite a bit over 3 months with the almost constant construction that goes on year-round.

This semester should be a little easier than the really tough last two, as i'm only doing 3 subjects, but that extra time could be offset by working 2 full days a week.
