Yesterday I got the tickets for the midnight screening of Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!!. I was going to be an uber-geek and actually scan it in and put it up on entry, but i didn't really have the time, and it would be a bit much.
I'm really getting psyched about going to see it.
I'm about 2/3ds of the way through writing the essay. Yesterday I wrote a lot: I did a lot more than I expected to get done, but a bit less than I'd hoped. I hope to have the majority of it finished except the conclusion by tomorrow night.
Last night went to Church for the Akathist hymn, and expected Bible study afterwards, but we were minus one priest so that didn't really happen. We went downstairs and talked to Eleni and the Drama Group for a bit before heading out to the Coffee Club for a quick drink. Went through a variety of mostly non-related conversations that Andrew has adequately summed up in his own blog entry.
This week has been a pretty miserable holiday overall: I really hate writing essays. I always think of the process as a 'War of Attrition' where i sit down over multiple days and just pummel at the thing until it eventually is finished.
