I know i'm showing my over-abundance of geekness with this post, but i'm way to anxious to hold it in: yes, only ~49 hours until Star Wars.

I am typing this post quite sore. Played 2 games of futsal tonight, on top of a game of indoor yesterday.

Saturday studied by writing out the interview questions and usage scenarios for the interview etc that I as going to have with my cousins on Sunday for my COMP3501 assignment. Went to Church as usual at night, and went out to Nando's and ice-cream afterwards.

Wow. What a week so far. And it really shows no signs of letting up for about another seven days. I think I need to take a little breath and blog what has been going on.

Worked Monday and Tuesday as normal.

This week looked for some jobs, won't really comment much about what has happenned about everything related to this in this public arena, but suffice to say it has taken up a fair bit of time I thought I had to spare this week.

I have entered probably the most hectic time of this year to date. Everything has managed to find itself merging at the same point in time: this week and next week.

Lets see of I can express this:
- HIST2609 Essay due next week. Had thought i'd finished it, but the new course coordinator has revealed some of her expectations which means my essay will need to be altered.
- HIST2609 Tutorial presentation this Wednesday: a 5 min presentation which I haven't started at all yet.

Friday saw the arrival of the DVDs that I ordered. I ordered The Family Guy Seasons 1 and 2 for about $20 each. However, I did not receive what I paid for, which was extremely frustrating. Season 2 was fine, but instead of them sending me the complete season 1, they sent me only Season 1 Disc 1.

Not happy. I sent an email to them on Friday morning, but have so far not received a response as to how i'm going to get my proper DVDs. Hoping for a response in the next 24 hours.

I have made a decision to change my main email account from Hotmail to GMail. I think that it has advanced far enough for me to make the change.

This decision is not really at all borne out of an anti-Microsoft stance, but really a pro-i-like-things-to-work stance. After switching browsers to Firefox, I have really noticed that most of the MS sites, including Hotmail, aren't really totally great with anything other than Internet Explorer.

That combined with a lot of other 'pull' factors of GMail has convinced me to make the switch.

Serves me right being a goody-two-shoes and coming into uni today. I'm in the labs typing this one out. Wednesday is normally my busiest day of this semester: 9-10 COMP3501 tute, 10-11 HIST2609 tute, 12-2 HIST2609 lecture, and a 2-4 COMP3501 lecture.

Went to my COMP3501 tute this morning as usual, and then went to go to the HIST2609 tute, to only find about 4 people there after turning up about a few minutes late. This doesn't seem right... i thought, so I checked the course outline, and lo-and-behold!: Week 9, 4 May: NO CLASSES!!!

Christ is risen from the dead, through death trampling upon death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life.

Well, Easter 2005 has come and gone. Saturday night at midnight was of course the wonderful resurrection service, and yesterday was Great and Holy Pascha (Easter).

The fast is now over, and we all celebrated by truly stuffing ourselves.

Holy Week continues, with today being Holy Wednesday, and i just got back from Church.

Kind of a weird week so far. I didn't get as much study as i'd hoped to get done over the weekend for various reasons, so I had to not go to work on Tuesday and concentrate on uni. It was a very productive day for me though, writing over 800wds of my HIST2609 essay.

Today is the first day of the Orthodox Christian Holy Week, which means going to Church at least every night of this week, culminating in the Easter Resurrection service at midnight on Saturday night.

I haven't done as much study as i'd hoped to have done recently, so unfortunately that means i won't be able to have a study-free Holy Week.
