These past few days I have attended my last ever uni classes (again assuming I pass all my courses this semester). I had my last ever tute yesterday, and this morning I had my last ever lecture.

Haven't blogged in a while, been quite busy and haven't had enough time to sit and type out an entry until now.

A few eventful things have happened in the past few days. First of all, I've got a new mobile phone: the Samsung D500. Quite a nifty little phone. I really wanted a new phone to replace my old Nokia 8310, and i wanted one with at least a VGA camera, bluetooth, good battery life, not a flip open or clamshell one (just personal preference), and not be any larger than the 8310, which is really quite small. … Read more →

Went into uni as normal today to attend my HIST2602 lecture and tutorial. What was not normal was that after the tut finished at 1, I went straight to the labs to complete my COMP3501 (HCI) assignment with my partner for that assignment. After about 2 1/2 hours of working we finally finished it and submitted it.

Played mixed futsal on Monday night with Despina playing only her thrid game after missing a few sick. She played absolutely awesome, her running and getting into scoring positions was great, and in this game she actually got in the way of opposing players and tackled them quite well.

Me on the other hand, played absolutely terrible. The disparity in performance was adequately shown by Despina who scored her first ever goal (and the first female goal that our team has scored) having one goal, and me scoring none. Saw Star Wars again on Friday night, although that one wasn't really planned: Despina's brothers wanted to see it so i tagged along.

Last night Arsenal won the FA Cup by beating Manchester United on a penalty shoot-out 5-4 after the game finished 0-0. I know i'm showing my over-abundance of geekness with this post, but i'm way to anxious to hold it in: yes, only ~49 hours until Star Wars.

I am typing this post quite sore. Played 2 games of futsal tonight, on top of a game of indoor yesterday.

Wow. What a week so far. And it really shows no signs of letting up for about another seven days. I think I need to take a little breath and blog what has been going on.

Worked Monday and Tuesday as normal.

I have entered probably the most hectic time of this year to date. Everything has managed to find itself merging at the same point in time: this week and next week.

Lets see of I can express this:
- HIST2609 Essay due next week. Had thought i'd finished it, but the new course coordinator has revealed some of her expectations which means my essay will need to be altered.
- HIST2609 Tutorial presentation this Wednesday: a 5 min presentation which I haven't started at all yet.

Friday saw the arrival of the DVDs that I ordered. I ordered The Family Guy Seasons 1 and 2 for about $20 each. However, I did not receive what I paid for, which was extremely frustrating. Season 2 was fine, but instead of them sending me the complete season 1, they sent me only Season 1 Disc 1.

Not happy. I sent an email to them on Friday morning, but have so far not received a response as to how i'm going to get my proper DVDs. Hoping for a response in the next 24 hours.
