Things with uni are back into full swing. The group assignment is steaming ahead, and i'm just about to start my short tutorial essay for The history of china course. This essay on on the successes and failures of Chiank Kaishek's leadership, and is only 1000wds plus a ten minute presentation i've got to do later in the semester.

Yesterday was probably the worst Monday i've had this semester. Well, they've all been bad, but yesterday just seemed to drain it all out of me. Other than my usual 10-6 uni monday with only one hour break in the middle, i had my usual Greek lessons from 7-9 as well. Well i finished writing and typing my essay on Sun Yat-sen. Other than considerable proof reading, i can consider this assignment finished. Talking to Andrew last night at Church (in which he complained about the lack of site updates, my answer being I have almost zero spare time) I had the idea of putting my assignments online for everybody to see (and probably ridicule). If I have the time, i probably will, only AFTER the assignment is marked and returned to me (so publicly displaying will not have an effect on the grade i recieve).

So ends my very much enjoyed Easter and a few days off. Back to crappy reality today, as I have to start a lot of gabage for uni. First in the firing line: my major essay for HIST2100 (Emergence of modern China) on why Sun Yat-Sen has been labelled a 'frustrated patriot'.

I got through all the work i had to do (both uni and payed) for last week ok. I still have a lot of uni stuff to do for this week, and not too much payed work (only a Saturday morning shift). I'm looking forward to this weekend, both because it is Easter, and because i'm going to be taking time off from doing anything related to uni.

Today i did my first COMP3804 demonstration. I didn't get full marks, which i was a bit dissapointed in considering the effort i put into the working component, but there were a few minor oversights made by me which were ,ironically, partially caused by me being a bit too perfectionistic in the way i implemented the component. Ah well...

Here i am at uni, in the labs typing this one out. So begins a tough two weeks at uni before the break. At my last count, i have 6 assesment items due before next thursday (and thats not even counting all the seperate COMP3804 deliverables).

I came into uni yesterday to migrate my COMP3804 system to uni, which, other than the usual stupid things committed by me, turned out to be not the major pain i had expected it to. Nevertheless, i still hate having to come into uni on weekends.
