Not much to blog about in the last few fays other than working, which is not really that great of a blogable subject unless something really exciting happens, which it hasn't.

Have been playing UT2004 a little bit in the small amount of spare time I do have. It's a really great game, especially the onslaught matches. You can really see the difference in the gameplay between a game like SW Battlefront and UT2004.

I'm mostly over the cold that I had for New years, but unsurprisingly, now Despina has it.

Went back to work today, and had a largely frustrating day, due to some strange things with html that I won't go into here.

Over the break, other than being sick, i also got into some games. Not only did i continue playing Star Wars: Battlefront, yesterday also bought the semi-old Unreal Tournament 2004 which is a great game. I haven't had that much time to play it yet though.

Unfortunately, from New Years Eve until today I have been sick with a stupid cold-like something. Needless to say I could have had a better new years, but what can you do. For New Year's eve we went to my Aunty's place at Highgate Hill which was a pretty good vantage point to see the fireworks, which were pretty good.

For New Year's day itself, it was mostly spent lying down, resting, and drinking plenty of water.

I was asked to stay back at work (supermarket) last night, so I did, working from 3-10pm. Washed both cars today.

After I got back from Melbourne earlier this month I applied for a credit card. Although I have to apparent need for a credit card right now, I have been advised that it would be beneficial to get one in order to gain a good credit rating. I did my first shift at the supermarket today and I came to the surprising realisation that I am actually considerably more stressed working at the supermarket than working at the office.

Today's shift had the usual angry/dissatisfied/annoyed/impatient/anything-else-you-want customers, plus two packet breakages, one involving glass. During all this I though how much less stressful it is working at the office. Before today I would have expected the opposite. Taking a break from work to type out a blog entry. The last week has gone by so fast now that I'm working full-time it's unbelievable.

So completes my first (almost) complete week of full-time work. I've gotta say that this will take some getting used to: this is the first time that I have worked on a full-time basis in over four years.
