I've just gotten back from watching Casino Royale in Gold Class and I feel the need to quickly blog my impressions and thoughts of the movie before they permanently escape from my brain. Insert the usual warnings about spoilers here, but i'll try my best to make my points without ruining the plot at all.

I guess if I had to sum up my view on the film in one sentence it would have to be: It was a great movie, but it wasn't a Bond movie.

Guess what just came out? Yes, the Nintendo Wii was released in Australia today. I have to be honest and say that I am resisting every temptation to buy this thing. Thankfully the Mrs reminds me of what will happen to me if i don't.

Yesterday I had a really unnerving experience driving to lunch. I almost, stress almost, had a serious car accident driving to none other than the usual Nando's. Driving along Vulture St, some idiot decided to reverse out of the Cyprus House driveway (of all places!), obviously without consulting the road to see if someone just might be driving on it.

As you can probably tell, i have mildly enjoyed not being pressured into blogging in the last few days. 😉

I gladly finished work on Friday, the afternoon before 5pm just seemed to drag on forever. Friday night was spent watching a movie at my parent's place. I opted to watch the last Bond film, Die Another Day, ahead of watching the new one next week in Gold Class cinemas (we're forced to use vouchers which are expiring soon). Watch out for my rant on how Daniel Craig does not fit the character of James Bond.

Day 30, last day of NaBloPoMo

So this is the last day of NaBloPoMo! It's definitely been an interesting experience, i'm not totally sure if i'd do it again next year, but who knows.

I think i've done quite well over the month, i'm pretty sure there were only a few entries which I made just for the sake of it.

Day 29 of NaBloPoMo

I didn't do that much today, just really went to work, came home, and after dinner at the in-laws, i'm here. I really haven't got that much to blog.

Because there is only one more day of NaBloPoMo to go, I thought it would be interesting to see the result of this month in terms of activity on this website.

I know i've said it many, many times before, but I hate summer. I loathe it, I despise it, I abhor it, I [insert other thesaurus entry for the word 'hate'] it.

Day 26 of NaBloPoMo

Last night was good: went to Church, farewelled a person going to Africa for a few weeks, and then it transpired that via picking up fish'n'chips, a few people came over our place to watch a few How I Met Your Mother episodes.
