Day 28 of NaBloPoMo
I know i've said it many, many times before, but I hate summer. I loathe it, I despise it, I abhor it, I [insert other thesaurus entry for the word 'hate'] it.
As you can probably tell, it's been pretty hot here in the past few days. Please please, winter come back!
After going to the parents for dinner and getting really annoyed at my siblings recounting and spoiling the Borat movie (which I want to but haven't seen yet), the snap decision was made to go and see it tonight.
We decided to go to the Southbank cinemas to take advantage of an earlier session time, and despite reassurances that relatively late on a Tuesday night it would be quiet, my opinion that it would be quite busy turned out to be correct. Southbank was packed, and our session, which was in the massive IMAX cinema, even sold out (after we got tickets of course).
The movie was hilarious, although I think it did taper off in the last 20 minutes or so.
oddly, i'm starting to not be in favour of Brisbane summer. i think that if you don't have to do anything, it's fine, and gives a great excuse to go swim, but otherwise it's really frustrating.
😮 What's this? Andrew not liking Brisbane summer? Are you feeling ok?! hehe
