Due to popular demand I have put up photos of the wedding and honeymoon.

Tomorrow I go back to work after the wedding, after having come back from the honeymoon last Friday. Needless to say, the past week and a bit has been very very hectic.

Both me and Des have had to properly move out of out of our respective former homes, adjust to the time-zone, and move into our unit whilst simultaneously learning how to look after ourselves (i.e. cooking, cleaning, etc etc) for the very first time.

We got back from the honeymoon on Friday, and this entry i'll devote solely to the honeymoon, and leave what's happened since Friday (a considerable amount to blog) for the next entry. Although i'm sure this has probably been done many times before, I haven't yet seen anyone do a blog entry the night before their wedding.

Amid all the chaos and busy-ness in the days leading up to wedding, I was looking forward to the one I just had. Yes, today was supposed to be the geek's day because the install of the cable internet was supposed to happen today.

We now have passed the 7 day marker ahead of the wedding on this Saturday. Before we get to that, I might as well recap on stuff that has happened this past week.

This past week was my last week at work, and I wrapped up most loose ends and ended getting a lot of stuff done that I didn't really expect to work through. In the past few weeks, I have gotten into following the Whirlpool forums. Other than getting myself into a couple of flame wars, I have gotten some very helpful advice, and my first proper forum participation has been a quite enjoyable experience. Added to that, the forum is an excellent custom-built (from scratch!) forum engine which has a fantastic interface and an overall practicality and usability about it.

Today was Despina's kitchen tea before the wedding. We got tonnes of gifts, so a big 'thank you' to all who attended.
