Well i've finally finished installing the Gallery. Therefore the photos page is gone, and any links to it should be broken.

In my typical about-face style i changed my mind on which PHP gallery i was going to use, and decided rather to go with DAlbum.

Right now there is only one album in the gallery because i don't have many pictures, but Andrew and Tim will be pleased to know that their photos are in there. Looked around for a good php photo gallery. Decided on this one. I'll spend the next day or two installing and configuring it.

Played futsal tonight in the last round of the normal season, and lost pretty convincingly (can't remember the score) to the top team. We finished second to them. Finals start next week, and i'm not looking forward to playing these guys in the final (if we get there).… Read more →

Hey, not sure if this will actually work or not... Today my hosting company migrated all the accounts over to new servers, so everything with the site has been a bit mucked up. PHP not working, the admin panel saying that my disk usage jumping almost 200MB, the shoutbox and this blog alternately showing/not-showing new posts, etc, etc.

If there is anything screwy happening with the site (such shoutbox posts dissapearing or not showing), I would appreciate if someone could let me know.

Well, i've come into another phase of addiction, but this time its worse because i've actually spent money on it! My new addiction, or rather renewed addiction, is emulated games. I've now gotten myself hooked on the old Sonic the Hedgehog games (see pictures below). I'm using a Sega emulator called Gens.

Played futsal last night, against the fiery Greeks (other greeks), and ended up missing most of the second half after being haxed. Lucky i didn't end up dislocating my knee, but it sure did (and does) hurt. Even worse i don't bruise easily, so i've got nothing to show for it, and everone at home thinks i'm making a big deal out of nothing!

Just put up a new game: Simon. A memory/follow the sequence type of thing. Check it out in games section. Sometimes it is so infuriatingly frustrating i feel like grabbing the colour circle thing right out of the monitor and throwing it out the window frisbee-style. Come to think of it, i feel like doing that to my computer every other day...

The hosting company that i just signed up for has just closed its doors to any new customers till Feb 1st. It seems that they are overwhelmed! Looks like i just got in!

I woke up yesterday, early for a Sunday, to go and play this weeks round at indoor soccer. Only one other person from my team actually showed, so we had to borrow some players for us to at least play. We played with members from a team called the Scrub Turkeys: guys with a green Flinstone-esque top, with little bush turkeys all over. They played well, and were great sports too. We lost anyway, so that meant that i didn't have to pay (the whole) match fee becuase it counted as a forfeit because only two of us showed.… Read more →

Today was a very nice way to wake up: a call from work asking if i could do the shift starting in 15 minutes. Nothing to complain about though, because i have been looking for more work, so the twist of fate was ironic.
