Day 10 of NaBloPoMo
Not quite sure of what to blog about tonight, nothing really much has happened today. The only notable thing is that I'm by myself in the IT department whilst my co-worker goes on leave today and next week. The result is very busy days, as i'm handling the work of two people.
In Australia a Coke commercial that has been around for a while overseas has started to air on TV here recently. Entitled 'Happiness Factory', it's pretty spectacular: check it out on YouTube, or search the net for better quality quicktime versions. Every time I watch it I see something new.
Just as a side issue. What is your opinion on YouTube?
My opinion? I'm not really sure of what you're asking...
On YouTube there's a lot of crap (teenies uploading videos of themselves sleeping) but also a lot of good stuff.
Unfortunately a lot of the 'good stuff' is copyrighted material that is published there illegally. Good for us who just want to watch it, but I think it's only a matter of time before the big companies start lining up to sue YouTube, especially now that Google owns it.
After paying $2 billion for YouTube, I think Google would be pretty pissed off if they are forced to shut it down.
