Who would have believed it. I woke up this morning at 4:45am to watch the Euro 2004 semi-final between Greece and The Czech Republic. Greece won 1-0 in extra time, and are now into the Euro 2004 final. They were outsiders to even qualify (let alone get passed the the group stage), and now in only their second major tournament in the country's history, they are in the final against the host nation Portugal.
GO THE GREEKS!!
Officiating the match this morning was once again the ever-present most famous referee in the world, Pierluigi Collina, with the match being his last international match of his refeering career.
However, a theory that is popular at my place is that Collina is a reincarnation of the villain of that 80s cartoon He-Man: none other than SKELETOR!
The pictures below are all the explanation necessary.
he has everything but the muscles.
