Finishing the working week, last night we went and saw WALL-E.

I'll leave out my complaints about having to wait almost two months to legally see this movie in Australia following the US release, but this movie is fantastic.

It was a masterpiece of story-telling. The fact that much of the movie does not have any dialogue at all, and that they managed to bring so much life and emotion to what is essentially a robot, is really amazing.

It's the first Pixar film i've really enjoyed since Finding Nemo (although I haven't seen The Incredibles), and it almost makes me want to go out and buy a Blu-Ray player just so I can buy this movie on Blu-Ray so i can see it in all its HD glory.

It's up there as one of my favourite movies of the year, probably up there with Iron Man.
