For the last dew days i've been in a bad mood. There are a few things that have ticked me off, but none of them all that serious or significant as to cause me to get in a bad mood.

Firstly, work has been pretty hectic. The other IT person in the company has been home sick the past few days which means that I'm having to cover a lot more things than I would normally have to.

Secondly, Arsenal are doing pretty crap at the moment. They expectedly lost the Carling Cup final to Chelsea on Sunday night (expectedly because Arsenal fielded basically a youth team against Chelsea's assembled billion dollars worth of players), and then were knocked out of the FA Cup in mid-week by Blackburn. I'm just glad that I haven't been watching these games.

Thirdly, and this is going to sound really dumb, i'm bummed out at having to wait for a video game to be released. I'm really looking forward to getting Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii; it's really the only game that I haven't already got that I have been really looking forward to, and it'll probably will be my last video-game purchase quite in a while.

I had pre-ordered the game at EB, expecting that it would guarantee me getting it at the earliest possible time. Over the months the Australian release date eventually got pushed back to 8th March (next week).

Earlier this week, an Australian online store that I have previously bought from advertised that they had gotten UK versions of the game (exactly the same as the Australian ones, save for ratings information and contact numbers on the packaging) and were shipping them over a week before the Australian release date, and at a pretty good price nontheless!

If I hadn't pre-ordered at EB (in which you have to put a deposit down) i'd be playing the game right now :(. I know this is probably a good exercise in teaching me patience, but it's still really frustrating.

As a result, i'm never pre-ordering anything again. Having been burnt twice in the past few weeks in the first pre-orders that i've ever made, i've learnt my lesson. We did eventually get the second Wii Nunchuck controller btw, and Despina is 2-0 against me in boxing. Beaten up by own wife, how depressing... 🙁
