Day 23 of NaBloPoMo
The big news in town of late is the first Ashes Test beginning in Brisbane today. I normally can't stand watching cricket, but i'll admit to at least following the scores for the Ashes series.
It sucks though, because my commute to work and back passes right next to the Gabba (stadium where the cricket is being played at the moment). This afternoon I had to dodge the area which extended my run home.
I've just gotten back home from playing mixed indoor tonight. It was a really strange and high-scoring game, which is amazing considering the rule of alternate sex scoring. At half-time it was 6-5 to us, and I think the game ended 10 or 11-6, our team victorious. It's easily the highest scoring mixed game i've ever played, I even finished the game with a good headed goal after a sweet lob from the side.
Hey Lucas, you're doing well with your blog a day challenge! Keep up the good work.
And I'll see you NEXT WEEK - how cool is that?!
I know, i'm quite impressed myself, but it has been hard work!
w00t! Have a safe trip, and see you soon!
