Buggery it's hot. I really do not like this heat.
Last night at Church a different liturgy was done instead of the normal Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. Because of the feast day of St. James, last night the Divine Liturgy of St. James was performed. It was quite an interesting experience. Although in some parts similar, this liturgy was quite different to the normal liturgy.
For starters the priests and the altar boys are all outside of the altar, and continuously face the congregation, and it is just a little bit longer than the normal liturgy. The Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist (or Holy Communion) is delivered separately, rather than mixed together as it is normally done in the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
Although I did like the openness of the Liturgy being performed in full view of the congregation, I still would prefer the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
After Church I also saw Anchorman, which was quite a funny movie. My favourite one-liner was when one of the news team when bragging on the effectiveness of his cologne, Sex Panther (illegal in nine countries and made of pieces of real panther), claims when wooing the ladies that: "Sixty percent of the time, it works every time."
