In the last few days i have begun studying for my exams.

After finishing off my last assignment on the weekend, Monday was mainly spent on collecting and printing a lot of garbage just to make sure i have everything i need to actually study (lecture notes, tuts, etc.). That took the majority of the day which was longer than i expected.

This week was the last teaching week for Semester 1 2004. I really can't believe how fast it has gone. I think it was mainly the project that made it feal like just one big blur of a semester. Next week is of course SWOTVAC (as a side note i can't remember what that actually stands for...), and i still have one more assignment to hand in, which is the INFS3100 Assignment 4, which is on, ironically enough, designing a system of classification for my university assignments.

Today was the dd-day (due date) for all the COMP3804 garbage due this semester (except for the exam). We got everything in ok (i think i got off easy yesterday/lastnight because i had to work till 10 last night, which i am a bit guilty about), and i think the demonstration went fine (although there was a nervous 30 or so seconds when the program wasn't responding probably because of lots of stress on the oracle server at uni at the time). Yesterday's Monday actually wasn't that bad. The reasons being that it was the last one I will have to go to this semester (yay!! no more 10-6!), and i recieved some pretty favourable assessment results.

First of all, I got 18.5/20 for my INFS3100 Assignment 3 (the one on classification systems where we had to go to 2 supermarkets and record shelf layouts and infer a system of classification). My group's COMP3804 demonstration is this coming week (along with everything else that is due). We had signed up to a demonstration time over 3 weeks ago, and yesterday the lecturer apparently called and said they've got a class on at that time and would we like to do it way earlier in the day or way later? And these are the people lecturing us on project and time management?

On Wednesday i purchased my first (physical) products over the internet. I say physical because my first ever internet transaction was buying the hosting plan that this website is on!

Well we are only 2 and bit weeks to the end of the teaching semester. I've completed most of my assessment due before the exams start with the exception of all the COMP3804 crap, the big INFS3100 assignment and my HIST2100 tutorial essay.
