Kicking off NaBloPoMo: Water Restrictions

Day 1 of NaBloPoMo

This my the first entry for NaBloPoMo! In case you missed it, this month is NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month), which requires me to write at least one blog entry per day for entire month of November. I must apologise in advance for the inevitable short entries, dodgy content, and the many many speling and/or errors grammatical (those on purpose ;)).

Now onto the actual blogging. In significant news for locals, Level 4 water restrictions came into effect as the drought continues in south-east Queensland. The dam reserves are still going down, currently sitting at just over 25% capacity. I'm actually starting to get a bit worried, it wasn't that long ago that I was blogging when they were over 28%.

We are entering the wet season, but we need flood-like rain in order to even come close to bringing the region out of drought, and we hardly got any rain at all last year. Here's praying for some rain.

I've got a few other blog-worthy things up my sleeve, but i think i'll save it for the next few days...

  1. Level four you say? Hmm... I can stay here where there's lots of water but it's BLOODY COLD right now, or I can come back to the sunshine and no water. I'm going for option B.:D See you in four weeks mate!!!
