Putting the not-so-best foot forward

For the past few days I have been walking around like a 'normal' person! I have been wearing normal shoes, and my foot feels pretty good. Me and Despina even went for a protracted walk on Wednesday night in which I even did a little bit of a run, and although the foot hurt a little, it was mostly all good. I have even started driving the manual car again. My foot as whole is a little bit stiff and sore, but that is to be expected because of me basically not using it properly for the past three months.

Overall the outlook looks good, and I probably won't need to take the piece of bone out, but I still want to reserve judgement for a few weeks after I properly get back into the normal swing of things and maybe also play a few games of indoor football.

Last night, we went and saw Deuce Bigelow: European Gigalow, which was a pretty funny movie. I enjoyed it, the humour being a little more base than the first movie.

In the geek news recently, it seems that the file-sharing program, WinMX, has mysteriously stopped service. Their website is down, and it's not possible to connect to the network. It seems that the American Record Association, the RIAA, has sent letters to all popular file-sharing software makers to basically cease-and-desist or else they'll come after them. Go nuts I say, it doesn't make much sense to me, rather than going after file-sharers, they should direct people to download legally ( the iTunes music store still hasn't launched here in Australia, reportedly because of some record companies holding out) or lower their too high CD prices. See my earlier post on the Australian Kazaa ruling.
