GOOOAAAALLL RAV-4!!

On Saturday, I spent a mostly lazy day hanging around home. I put up my Homestar poster in my room. I've been meaning take a photo of it and put it up here, but I really haven't had the time. It's times like this that I wish I had a camera phone so i could take quick photos wherever I am and quickly upload them onto this blog.

At night we went to Church, and made a very entertaining exit out of the Church grounds: arm-in-arm we skipped out the gate singing: "We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz, because, because, because!". I'm not sure what prompted such momentary insanity, but it was enjoyable and entertaining.

That night was Chris's 21st birthday party at the St. Paraskevi (north-side Greek Orthodox Church) hall. Had a pretty good time. Andrew and me talked about me teaching RE at State High. I would like to but i'll have to think about it more. It'd be interesting, but i'm not sure if I can squeeze it in around uni and work. We'll see though.

We also made a very memorable exit from the party. Adjoining the Church and hall is a soccer field complete with proper goals. Some of the grassy area had already been used for parking (myself included). I looked at the goal posts and thought it would be a pretty cool score a car-goal. I convinced myself that the RAV would clear the crossbar, and drove (albeit slowly) through the goal with the car. Another thing that would have been cool to catch on camera.

Went to work as normal today. Work lately has been very frustrating of late. I finished my first jsp application a while ago, but haven't deployed yet as we have had some major troubles configuring the intranet web-server to process the pages properly. Hopefully over the next few days we'll have a bit more luck.

Edit 25/1/2005: I forgot to mention Sunday! It was my Dad's birthday, and we also played our game of indoor soccer: it was a top of the table clash (we were top and palying the second team). They absolutely whooped us 9-1. We were without subs for a good part of the first half, for reasons I will not mention in this public forum.
