The thoughts, opinions, happenings, and just plain ramblings of a seemingly boring person.

AS it is usual around this type of year, a few things are guaranteed for me: increasingly hot weather, exams for uni, and plenty of sports with the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and Baseball World Series all being played out live on TV.

Last night I stayed up till 1am to watch the big game: my Arsenal vs. Manchester United. Unfortunately United won the game, and ended Arsenal's unbeaten run of 49 games that spanned 3 seasons.

To be brutally honest, i don't mind Arsenal losing to Man U, they are respectable opponents. But I did mind the way United won last night. United played so dirty it wasn't funny. Of the shortlist: Ferdinand barging over Ljunberg (really it should have been a red card); basically the whole United team (especially the Neville brothers) haxing down Reyes (leave the kid alone!!); the disgustingly dirty van Nistelrooy, who even by his very low standards appalled me with his cheap shot on Ashley Cole; and what won the game for United, Rooney's blatant dive in the box that the referee all too easily fell for.

Anyway, if you told me at the start of the season that after ten games Arsenal would be on top of the league with 25 out of a 30 possible points points, 2 clear of Chelsea and 8 clear of Man Utd, i would have taken that any day.
