Jacarandas Are Blooming

UQ is famous for its many Jacaranda trees around the St. Lucia campus. It is a common myth here at UQ that if you haven't started studying for your exams by the time the Jacarandas start blooming (usually around this time of year) that you are not going to be in good shape for your exams. If this is actually the truth, then I am totally screwed, for they started blooming about a week ago.

The Jacarandas in full bloom here truly a fantastic site. Every day that I have come to uni this week I would say to myself that I must remember to bring a camera tomorrow so I can take a picture of them. I must remember to do that tomorrow. On with 3804...
